Archipelago
Description
Archipelago is an open world exploration game set in a serene and picturesque archipelago populated by friendly people the player must seek out and complete quests for. It featured sailing, 4 minigames, and 3 quests.
This was a professional project, the brief for which was created and pitched to industry by myself in conjunction with the other designer for the team. As the team leader I corresponded with our client and mentor, Junkfish, to keep them updated on our progress and make use of their valuable feedback and advice. I was also responsible for project documentation, pitching to lecturers and clients, and presenting our work to our peers.
In addition to this I also wrote the narrative for Archipelago, aided the Lead Designer on games design tasks, and worked with the art team as a producer.
